could a bullet train be made into a flgihtworthy form of aircraft?

given the considerable over all shared design qualities between certain types of high speed aircraft and bullet trains would it actually be possible in the present day to retrofit and rebuild a highspeed bullet train so that it would have a over all hybrid style airwothy design so that it could actually serve as a type of flight capable aircraft.

im just wondering if it would be possible in theory anyway
